Two varieties that we will totally forgive you for if you've never heard of them... Mauzac and Loin de l'œil. Mauzac is indigenous to the region... Gaillac, SW of France. It's a white wine variety with flavours of honeysuckle and citrus. Loin de l'œil is another native variety, but generally hails from the Loire, a little further north. Luscious, textural stonefruit.

Bardets Blanc is a delicious white wine blend true to the southwest of France. Lemon, lime, honeysuckle, white flowers, rockmelon. It's a wine with unique flavour, aroma and great taste and texture. What more can we say?!

The Les Bardets wines are made by Cave de Labastide. Located in the heart of the Gaillac appellation, Labastide was founded in 1949 and today is the oldest cellar in the entire appellation. It is made up of about a hundred cooperative winegrowers with a total footprint of around 1,000 hectares. The aim is to produce honest wines from plots that are farmed organically, made with minimal intervention in the winery and offer them at democratic prices.
