2010 Eric Bordelet Mistelle de Pommes à Sydre 500ml
Mistelle is a traditional digestif from Normandie (Normandy). It can be made from apples or pears, here it has been made from Sydre (Apple Cider) juice, then aged in French oak barrels for 10 years and fortified with Calvados made from the next year's Apple Cider juice.
It is a delicate sweet digestif to finish any meal on. It's rich, textural and incredibly concentrated. Serve as you might a dessert wine.
