2010 Eric Bordelet Mistelle de Poires à Poiré 500ml

Mistelle is a traditional digestif from Normandie (Normandy). It can be made from apples or pears, here it has been made from Poiré (Pear Cider) juice, then aged in French oak barrels for 10 years and fortified with Calvados made from the next year's Poiré juice.

It is a delicate sweet digestif to finish any meal on. It's rich, textural and incredibly concentrated. Serve as you might a dessert wine.
