Das Juice

Das Juice is the project of two friends, James Audas and Tom Sheer, who run Australian natural wine distribution business Lo-Fi together. James, who returned to Australia after working as Head Sommelier at Noma, also runs ARC Wines together with his wife Jess, where he is the winemaker across both labels. ARC Wines are farmed and made by James and Jess and will join our portfolio later in the year, along with the 2021 vintage of Das Juice which will be significantly more plentiful in volume - this release is just 10-20 cases of each wine, and just three of the six wines they produce.

Even with the attractive pricepoint, these wines are no-compromise. The fruit for Das Juice is sourced exclusively from organic and biodynamic vineyards, which for 2020 were from Brackenwood, Magpie Springs, Peters Creek and Tatachilla - all subregions of Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale in South Australia. The pair also have a recently planted Prosecco/Glera vineyard in Victoria which will be organic from inception and will come into the 2021 vintage release. All wines are wild fermented, unfiltered, unfined, with minimal sulphites added at bottling and, as you should expect by now, all are delicious, well-made and a total joy to drink.

All three of the Das Juice wines will be available to taste at both Everyday Wine stores (442 K Road, Auckland and 177 Cuba Street, Wellington) this Friday 11 June, 11am-8pm.
